PART 1: Yoga | 12-1pm EST


This class will open tight areas, increase flexibility and strength, and tackle some of the tango dancer's biggest ongoing struggles such as stability, torsion, and smooth, fluid movement. All levels of practitioners are welcome to join. I will offer modifications to adjust the intensity of the poses to suit your needs. I recommend having 2 yoga blocks and a strap. If you don't have these props you can use books instead of blocks and a belt or scarf instead of a strap. 


PART 2: Tango Technique | 1:00-2:00pm EST


In this class, we will take what we discover about ourselves through our yoga practice into our tango dance. The focus will be on bringing more personal body awareness into your movement and making adjustments that make sense for your individual body. This means that each of you may walk away from this workshop with a different technique but feeling confident that you own your movement!
